Relaxing Saturday

Today in a nutshell. Got up at 7:00 a.m. to get Jonah to his soccer game. Searched the house for his soccer uniform, to no avail. He wasn't feeling well, and we were over-scheduled anyway, so bagged the soccer game. Grabbed donuts for Neil and all of the yard helpers. Drove Sabrina and Spence to call-backs for the Scrooge play. Watched them dance and read lines for three hours. Got home just as they were hydro-seeding the backyard. Hydro-seeders had some mechanical problems which was a good thing because Neil had all sorts of sprinkling system problems. The poor guy fought that system for about eight hours straight. He walked in the house coated with mud. The seed is laid, the sprinklers are almost there.

Neil finished working on sprinklers in his suit then rushed off to the Priesthood Session with Spence. I rushed off to do a photo shoot of one of the cutest families you ever did see. The lighting was crappy, but the subjects were darling. Came home in time to run Sabrina to her "Anti-Homecoming" party. Watched Nightmare Before Christmas with Jonah. Fell asleep part way through. Neil's grabbing Sabrina. I'm doing one last load of laundry, before we collapse into bed. Next Saturday will involve zero yard work and plenty of family play time.
